Not a great picture, but here I am at 34 weeks. One, I can't believe that I'm this far along! Two, how can I still have 6+ weeks to go?!
I'm feeling well, actually, considering I'm carrying a five pound baby boy INSIDE MY BODY. I'm sore all over, my pelvis, my back, my hips. I'm waddling. I can't get up in one motion, it takes two or three. I have to pee all the time. And I'm sleepy all the time. But--
I'm great. And we're still having fun with the pregnancy.
OH JOY! You made my day!!! I exclaimed and smiled and teared up all at the same time when I saw this. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You love so wonderful/lovely/cute/"glowing"... all at the same time. This six weeks will seem long. I think it is because for me by that time EVERYTHING took so much time: standing, sitting, walking...etc. And I never seemed to sleep longer than 45 minutes without needing to turn over and/or go to the bathroom. Then if I turned toward the center of the bed and THEN realized that I had to go to the bathroom...major production to turn back over and get up without wetting the bed. One of my funniest memories when I was that size was going to the movies with Ed and Ed's younger brother -- he was 16 at the time. The only three seats together were down in front all the way at the wall. As we walked in Ed's brother started giggling cuz I hit the back of each head on the way into the isle with the baby as we walked by. Then we saw seats farther back and as we went out of the isle, yup, I did it again! But you are nearly there! YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH.
ReplyDeleteSo, nap if and when you can. Walk all you can. No matter how much water you are drinking, drink more water. Lay on your left side. Put your feet up often during the day. Take lots of pictures: you and your son will cherish them later. and again
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oops... I meant "you LOOK so wonderful"
